Our Northern Ontario Bee Sanctuary is located in the small village of Burk’s Falls. The area is an unpolluted landscape that is close to the Algonquin Provincial Park and provides an unlimited variety of wild flowers for our bees. No antibiotics or chemicals are used in our hives. Honey is always manually extracted with the utmost care and respect to the bees. It is never heated which allows us to provide customers with the most natural and nutritious form of honey. Our honey is tested at a top North American lab and is examined across a wide spectrum for quality, GMOs, antibiotics, and over 700 pesticides. The results guarantee that our honey is of the highest quality. We believe that the lack of chemicals in our hives makes our bees less stressed which helps to produce superior quality honey. We take great care raising our bees. We always leave half of the honey produced by our bees to ensure they survive the long, harsh Canadian winter. We never supplement with empty sugar. The result of our hard work is a delicious honey that tickles your taste buds. Tasting it is an experience of its own.
